Importing from a local repository

If you need to import your Iguana 6 channels from a local Git repository folder, you can do so using the Iguana 6 Channel Importer - Local tool.
STEP 0: Export Iguana 6 Channel into local repository folder
Create a LOCAL repo folder and export your Iguana6 channels into this local export repo folder

STEP 1: Add Iguana 6 Channel Importer - Local to IguanaX using + Component
Clickthe Iguana 6 Channel Importer - Local and ADD.

STEP 2: Edit the GitRepo and GitRepoName to point to the local repo folder from Iguana 6

Note: the Iguana 6 Channel Importer - Local will use the GitRepoName to create a temp component as part of migration process.

STEP 3: Run the Iguana 6 Channel Importer - Local component
When Iguana 6 Channel Importer - Local component started, you should see the migration status at the bottom of the component card.

STEP 4: Clean up
Once you have received “All Done“ notification, you can stop the Iguana 6 Channel Importer - Local component

Also, you can delete the temp <GitRepoName> component as part of component clean up

Now your Iguana 6 channels have been successfully imported into IguanaX, search #imported and start testing and modifying your migrated Iguana 6 components!
