Monitoring
Monitoring IguanaX and your integrations is made simple using a few key strategies:
Using the Dashboard to get snapshot into interface health and status
The Dashboard is the main control panel for IguanaX. On the Dashboard you can get a quick look at the health of interfaces through key metrics like:
-
Status
-
Errors
-
Last Activity
-
Messages inbound/outbound per second
Using Notifications to proactively monitor Iguana and your interfaces
Notifications allow you to alert the right people at the right time of issues or potential issues. You can monitor for conditions such as:
-
Errors: If errors are present within any components
-
Queue Depth: If a component queue depth has surpassed a defined threshold - indicating your Iguana may require more resources to support your message volume.
-
Inactivity: If a component has not received and processed messages within a defined time period - indicating there may be an issue upstream.
-
Log Contains: Use the logs to monitor for any monitoring requirement. Trigger a notification if a defined keyword or phrase is found in a components logs.
