Web Server
The Iguana Web Server can be configured in Iguana's Settings to meet your deployment and security requirements. If the Iguana service is stopped, configurations can also be made in the Web Configuration File.
1. Change the Web Server Port
Iguana's web server is configured by default to run on port 7654. If you have multiple Iguana instances or another application is using that port on your machine, you must change the default port that Iguana is run on.
2. Configure a Web Server Description and Colour
Click on Edit to provide your Iguana instances with a unique web server description and colour to help identify your Iguana and make it easier to manage multiple servers. When running multiple instances of Iguana, its important to be able to quickly identify which environment you are working in.
We also use the web server description in the Automated crash reporting to identify each machine - for example, a development, test, or production instance.
3. Enable HTTPS for the Web Server
To secure the web server you can Enable HTTPS for the Web Server.
